How It Works


German psychologist Herman Ebbinghaus discovered that most humans forget approximately half of new knowledge within weeks unless they consciously review what they have learned. If training is to work effectively, it must be an ongoing process rather than a one-time event.

So Sugar International created our People Builder Modules and Pathways to insure your people retain and use what they learn for the long term. The People Builder can be used in two ways:

  1. Create a tailored Learning Pathway by selecting a Core workshop, usually of 1-2 days duration, in one of three areas:
    • Success & Personal Power
    • Sales & Customer Service
    • Management & Leadership

    Once the Core workshop is selected, choose any number of supplementary 3-hour Sugar Shots to target specific needs and outcomes.

  2. Use the People Builder as a convenient, on-demand performance development tool. Any individual or group can attend a select range of courses, addressing the issues where they need help while bypassing those that don’t apply, all without incurring large costs. We have selected our most sought-after workshops from our 250+ performance development programmes and created a combination of 1, 2 and 3 day comprehensive core workshops, as well as shorter, sharper, 3-hour Sugar Shots that address specific needs at convenient locations and times.
